Dr. Langan and her Registrar Dr. Sola were great when inducing my labour and delivering my little girl. Also midwife Jane who cared for me on the day of delivery. Fantastic care and never left my side. Carol also amazing. Barbara and Ger, brilliant midwives in maternity. I felt they treated me like I was the only patient there. Overall, maternity services in Sligo are amazing from start to finish. Rita,Patricia and Sheila in FAU and Roisin in OPD. Also Anna from anaesthetics was very gentle and kind. A great experience and care with both my daughter's births.

Ciara the midwife (unknown surname sorry) because I couldn't have felt in safer hands. So professional, proficient and practical. She was kind and caring and super attentive to me and my daughter's needs. She made it all an enjoyable experience and I will never ever forget the care and attention she showed us.

S/N Pat Farrimond. Interventional radiology. Pat explained the procedure in a very easy to understand way. She supplied a booklet about the procedure which was very comprehensive and allayed a lot of my fears. Her aftercare was also very good. She runs a very efficient unit and the unit should get more investment as it is crucial for the wellbeing of a lot of people.

Dr Michael in Accident and Emergency - without your kindness, compassion and commitment to our son we no doubt would have been facing a rather different outcome. We are so thankful for your gentleness and willingness to operate when necessary, for our sons quick treatment and for all the aftercare and advise you so kindly offered.

Roisin in the midwives clinic. Throughout my pregnancy she was such a great support and I would highly recommend the midwives clinic. I was lucky enough to have Roisin throughout my pregnancy and she was also so kind to take time out to come up to me while I was in labour and after on maternity ward to check in with me. If I go on to have more children I would be hoping I would be lucky enough to be blessed with Roisin's support again. Also have to say Marla, the midwife manager was great at putting me at ease on the big day and ensured I got what I needed. All the nurses in the NICU are angels and they supported us through a scary emotional time and they were of great help and reassurance. Dr Tumularu and his team members especially Anna were great at explaining things to us at all times. All staff in the peadatric ward are also fantastic and everyone went above and beyond for us and our baby boy.
