I received excellent care during the birth of my baby in October. I found this to be the same care on all three of my children. One midwife, Rebecca, went above and beyond with her care, she was working overtime due to staff shortages and she was excellent and a true angel in the care she delivered. I will always be so thankful to her.

From A&E I felt I was looked after very well. Was admitted to 5th Floor. Doctors, nurses (Gifty & Ambili - good listeners, caring and helpful), catering, cleaning staff, T and newspaper servers, reception and entire team I dealt with were all extremely pleasant. Warm conversations, caring, helpful and kind. Felt safe in Beacon Hospital. Covid19 test was carried out in A&E with results within 45 min. Great to see this for peace of mind. Temperature check on entrance, face mask, hand sanitising, questionnaires etc... all being monitored carefully 😷! Food was delicious 😋. Would highly recommend Beacon Hospital from my experience.

The nurses both in ED and ga5day and ga neuro were so nice and caring and excellent at their jobs. The neurosurgical team under Prof O Sullivan were amazing so kind and thanks to them and thanks to Professor M O'Sullivan I am still able to walk. Excellent care through my stay all staff were really nice, theatre staff, anaesthetist Frank Loughnane and porters and kitchen staff. Great care.

A&E Staff. Special mention for Lyndsay who was so very kind and had a wonderful smile on her face. Even though I am a healthcare worker I'm a bad patient!!! I get anxious about the whole process. But Lyndsay kept an eye on me through the night until I was transferred to the Ward. On D ward a special mention to Chelsea, Student Aoife and SN Órla who took such wonderful care of me pre and post my surgical procedure. The overall cleanliness of the ward and smiling faces of all the staff was second to none. Especially during this difficult time.

I would like to nominate Katriona and Catherine for their care when I was in with my baby girl. I would also like to thank Cora and Noelle, the midwives who worked so hard to make breastfeeding work for me and my daughter. I was so so happy with the care.

I have had such excellent care while here in the Rotunda. My care was mainly on postnatal. I especially wish to thank Vasha (night nurse) incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Would bring a smile to anyone's face. Emily (day nurse) wonderful care and so gentle with my baby. Justin (midwife HSE) who put so many supports in place for us. Susan (MSW) for being so understanding and working with us to get a plan for home in place. Also anaesthetist Dr Lua and Surgeon Nicola, everyone of you has been so kind and caring, you have made every part of the experience wonderful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend care at the Rotunda to another woman. You are all truly wonderful.
