ED doctor who treated me was fist class. She explained in a clear and honest manner to keep me calm and made me feel confident in her ability. All staff in the ED were rushed off their feet and I do not know how they can continue.

Dr Silvio and his Surgical Team. From moment of consultation with Dr Silvio to the very end of my care with him, he was impeccable and it felt like I was in private care. He has outstanding manners, he explained everything about the operation so clearly and what I should expect post-surgery. He went beyond the call of duty to check on me whilst in his care, all the time giving reassurance, advice and exceptional patient care. A man who is gifted at what he does, kind and understanding in every way. Should be awarded for EXCELLENCE in care and going beyond the call of duty. St Luke's Hospital should be very proud to have such an amazing man working for them.

Yes I would like all the diabetes nurses and Dr Colm McGurk to be nominated for their outstanding attitude to helping people with diabetes like myself. Their understanding, effort and caring attitude that they put in is second to none. You would think that they had diabetes themselves. They are always contactable and most helpful. They put in such hard work it is unbelievable. If we had more people like them in our healthcare system, it would be a far better experience for all concerned. I can not speak highly enough of them.

I would like to take a minute to thank Dr Ken Bolger who took the time to explain every possible aspect to me in plain and simple terms regarding my mother's state of health. Finally I have an idea of where I stand and can begin to plan ahead for her best interests and mine. He is a credit to the hospital and a model doctor.
