All the staff on paeds ward went out of their way to help us, especially the nurses. They made a difficult time more manageable!

Rose, Mary, Siobhan, Gillian, Carrie - Guinea ward. They were amazing with my trauma due to miscarriage.

Thanks so much to Dr R Sallam for taking such good care of me after a few recent visits in the OPD and a special word of praise and thanks to Nurse Mary that works along side the doctor as she is a truly kind lady and very good at her job...well done to a great team!

Maura, Avril, Simone, Dr Raine and Dr Saad, the team in the MAU department, without a doubt a fantastic team, treating each patient as an individual , with attention, care, dignity, compassion, an all over holistic approach from this team. They were under such pressure with an exceptionally busy patient overload, but they did their best to assure we all got the attention we needed.

Nurse Vivien and Dr Gabby in ED looked after me in a thoroughly professional, kind and caring way. Everything from assessment to discharge was excellent.

Fantastic paediatric unit with some fabulous staff working there, met two lovely managers Olivia and Noelle, and some lovely staff nurses. Dr Alan was very kind and caring, and brill with kids! He explained everything to myself and my husband at every available opportunity and couldn't be more helpful, my 2 year old girl just loved him. A very pleasant experience overall.

Dr Risteard in the A.M.A.Unit was a model in how doctors in general should attend to their patients. He was thorough, considerate very professional in all his dealings with me. The nurses were attentive, considerate and very kind. In fact, all of the staff in the Unit, from the porter who got me around to the X-Ray and other departments to the consultant who had overall charge of my particular case made the whole experience a very pleasant one.

The theatre staff were so nice during my surgical procedure. They were so friendly and kept my mind occupied that before I knew it, the procedure was complete. A big thank you to them.

Mr Sheirk was truly brilliant. Nurse Kate on the surgical ward was a fantastic nurse. Also the student nurses.

The clinical nurse manager Rose and all the staff on medical 2 - a credit to the nursing profession. All the team excellent including the discharge planners, catering staff, ward staff - very kind and professional, an asset to the hospital.

Dr Vijay , Nurse Teresa OPD rooms and Joan (secretary) Always a pleasure to deal with. Nurse Ann Marie Gynae Night Nurse. Nurses Serena, Brenda, Helen, Marie and Mary that were on duty on Sunday 23rd March for their exceptional kindness and compassion and treating me as an individual when I most needed it. I got Plenty of TLC and it worked better than any medicine! Thank you everyone. A very positive experience for me overall.

A&E Staff trying to make you comfortable in the circumstances

Outstandingly bad

Maternity team - couldn't fault them. Had 3 babies there. Dr Abbass - a very nice man and manner.

All of the staff on children's ward were so nice to me and my daughter when we had to stay in for six days, especially nurses Breda and Emma.

Niall Cowell and his team of junior doctors were fantastic. I however do feel very sorry for the junior doctors as I know they work very hard.

Student nurse Susan Browne was superb and a nurse called Molly in med1. The nurses, with one or two execrations, were lovely and couldn't do enough for you.

A special thank you to the fantastic staff on maternity ward, to the midwives, doctors and household staff. To name but a few...Debbie, Suzanne, Carmel, Marie , Noreen x2, Mary, Eileen, Libby , Dr Vijay, Andrea, Siobhan, the list goes on!
